BDML Insurance Solutions has undertaken extensive research that has shown that the Spanish Holiday Home market is poorly served by the UK insurance industry, especially in the provision of competitively priced Buildings and Home Contents insurance. In particular there are no current insurance propositions which genuinely fit the need of a UK customer who’s valuable property is generally several thousand miles away from their main residence. Working in conjunction with a leading Spanish Insurance company, Ocaso S.A., BDML Insurance Solutions has created Sunsure – the first Holiday Home Insurance policy which is delivered by a leading UK broker in English but supported on the ground by Ocaso’s network of claims handlers, tradesmen and support services to help your customers when disaster strikes. Launching in December 2006, sunsure will initially provide premium indications online with purchasing available via our experienced UK based call centre. The launch will be supported by specific radio and press advertising aimed at UK citizens who either now live in Spain or have a second property that they let or use as a holiday retreat.
