Insurance Providers Fund-Raising solution (03/10/06/) Leading social housing insurance provider BDML Insurance Solutions has come up with an innovative way of celebrating their first year in business. BDML’s “Quotation = Donation” campaign will mean a donation of £100 to charity for all councils and housing associations who obtain a quotation through the insurance broker during October. BDML provide specialist policies for Tenants Contents and Right to Buy Buildings insurance. A successful 2006 has seen the company provide cover to over 10,000 policyholders with an average premium saving of 15%. Managing Director, Tony Martin, commented, “We thought “Quotation = Donation” would be a good way of giving something back and there’s absolutely no obligation on the part of the council or housing association. We’ve chosen the NSPCC as the main recipient though clients can nominate a charity of their choice if they wish. Hopefully we’ve made it easy for clients to take part – they simply enter our website – www.bdmlis.co.uk, click on “Quotation = Donation”, and complete the brief quotation form”. With Autumn being a busy time for Social Housing providers and their insurance programmes BDML hope to raise several thousand pounds for the NSPCC and various charities.
